Teaching 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 viral trend
Today at @musicwill Modern Band Summit the National Association for Music Education presented a session called: “The Big Picture of Music Education: What’s New, What’s Next” My segment was about Expanding Curriculum and Opportunities and I wanted to show how we can teach using things that are trending on social media- so I taught the viral 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 then we had great small group discussions afterwards. I’m grateful for opportunities to make people smile, laugh and have fun while teaching. God gave us all gifts - teaching (which includes conducting) is mine.
