During our unlawful detention module of the Executive Protection training school at SECFOR International we teach students numerous techniques how to defeat handcuffs, standard, or hinged, double-locked, key holes up, police grade flex cuffs, rope, duct tape and other. In an unlawful detention scenario overseas, security personnel must be able to conceal their intention to escape by not advertising their escape tools IE not wearing 550 bracelets, or large watches with plastic cuff keys stuck behind them, etc. Watches, bracelets & shoes may all be taken and in-spite of this, you should still have your escape kit on you and able to get through a cursory search. Having your escape materials camouflaged but accessible is unfortunately not taught in most E & E courses...
Our executive protection programs take students through the entire spectrum of protection instruction including corporate, celebrity, high threat, soft skills, hard skills, advance work, mapping, mission planning, threat assessment, risk assessment, Driving, Trauma and Emergency Medical certifications. Unlike secret service training, in private protective work you will have to be skilled at route mapping, trauma medicine and many other skills.
