The band were the 2010 act recruited to sing about Nissin's Cup Noodles, theirs being a teenage tale.
Bon Jovi sang new lyrics in honor of the ever-popular noodle. The lyrics are as follows;
"The son is a high school third grader
He was studying for his exams
His cup noodle midnight snack
His mom had forgotten
The son ... sulked"
Nissin has made a reputation for bringing in foreign stars for their advertisements, famously utilizing Arnold Schwarzenegger for several ad campaigns.
