Tools in Gimp are essential.
Understanding tools in Gimp is probably the most important aspect of your workflow. Some of the tools are simple, while other tools might be complicated to use. The tool palette in Gimp is located (by default) in upper right-hand corner. If you exit out of single-window mode, you can rearrange you work space any way you want. To exit single window mode, simply go to Windows and uncheck Single Window Mode option.
