Transform Materials first-of-its-kind plasma technology turns low-cost hydrocarbon gases (like methane) into high-value, in-demand acetylene and hydrogen. The Transform process generates no CO₂ itself, and in fact can be net-negative for CO₂ emissions when powered by renewable energy sources and using renewable methane feedstocks.

We start with any hydrocarbon. It can be natural gas, it can be renewable gas, it can be a waste gas. And once we put it in the microwave, it all turns into acetylene and hydrogen.
This is very different than traditional processes, where you're typically combusting hydrocarbons, which produces a lot of carbon dioxide.
In our process, that input energy is coming from microwaves, which are powered only by electricity, and that allows us to produce a much cleaner process, especially as we connect our microwaves to green renewable power sources.
There's billions of dollars invested to produce the products we all use today. The industry is looking for a solution to reach net zero by 2050. Part of that shift is transitioning away from utilizing natural gas and combusting it, but actually processing it into the end product. And that's what Transform Materials technology enables.
So it not only takes a waste off their hands, but it allows them to make more product, generate more revenue, and increase their decarbonization efforts… it's phenomenal.
