Elmer Bool, 28 February 2025: 'neurUL: As a Programming Language'
In this talk I will be presenting neurUL, a new, neurobiologically inspired programming language. Using concepts from philosophy, neuroscience, cognitive science, computer science, and linguistics, we developed a language that can enable a highly flexible, efficient, and intuitive method for the storage and processing of data. I will also present a couple of applications, and show how neurUL can: (1) reduce, if not completely eliminate code and data duplication; and (2) process queries and enable predictable and explainable automation - while only using neural structures and processes as its primitive types, means of combination, and means of abstraction.
