6 Whole Tandoori Chickens in Massive Back Yard Tandoori oven.
Here is a quick video of me hanging 6 whole marinated chickens in my home made oil drum tandoor. It is heavily insulated from top to bottom with Perlite and only needs 1-2 kg of charcoal to maintain a temperature of 300 degrees celcius for a minimum of 4 hours.
The birds take 45 minutes to cook thoroughly and they come out nice and moist yet have a beautiful smokey flavour.
