The Failed Flagship? Roland V-Synth GT

A unit with so many options, built with high quality materials and able to offer more than you can handle but in the end it is the Goliath who got killed by David....a small issue and not being able to perform...FAILING MIDI CLOCK.
For me reason enough to consider this unit as a failed flagship because:
1. It can't handle tempo synced MIDI clock
2. No updates anymore so unusable USB Midi clock.
The GT is connected through normal MIDI DIN cable direct to the Roland MV-8800 Production Studio.
I read page 198 of the manual and followed all steps.
What's your opinion about this issue?
