I felt unsure and scared before starting on the bathroom walls. I'd never done anything like this before. I read a lot online before deciding how to attach it to the wall. I just didn't want to build a frame out of profiles and so on. It would take time, effort, noise, and money. I saw that there was glue. It was made with flat pieces. Excellent – my choice. It will definitely last for a couple of years. I made "embedded" pieces in the voids – I was thinking about securing them with screws. But the glue was a pleasant surprise. Almost every review mentioned how long it lasted, and yes, it did. I once lost a bucket of concrete, was distracted by my phone for 10-15 minutes, came back, mixed the mixture, and it was still runny – but a minute later, IT BECAME LIKE A ROCK. I was, of course, shocked. In short: I recommend perlfix 🫶🏻
Stretch ceiling. Yes, the walls are crooked in three places. But now I can't see that whole ceiling horror. The moldings are still there. Someone will have to save them—let them save them after I'm done.
It's just a shame I spent so much time trying to clean the ceiling and moldings in the kitchen. I already put a ceiling cornice on it to see if I could hide the defects. I think I'll succeed.
Where the corner is rounded, I'll have to find a flexible cornice. The light will be on the walls, because if I had waited for an electrician to run new wires to the ceiling, it would have dragged on for another couple of weeks.
