Taking a Stand (SF) : April 5th Event :: Big Rich - San Francisco Anthem
On April 5th in our first collaborative event Taking a Stand SF brought together over 200 people for a 6 hour event addressing policing in San Francisco.
After a series of workshops that included a know your rights training, a media literacy workshop and a little exercise in the power of social media an Interfaith Healing circle and a Storytelling circle, we celebrated with performances from participants.
Big Rich of Project Level in the Fillmore came out of retirement and blessed us with a performance of the "SF Anthem."
