Thank you @chrisstapleton for writing such a beautiful song about your dog Maggie! I hope you do net mind me switching up the lyrics a bit so I could make it about my dog Gracie who passed away a little over a year ago…you see it was raining on Monday November 15, 2021 the day she died. She woke up and couldn’t use her legs - although she had been having trouble for a week or so leading up to our goodbye. Anyway, this one is for my sweet Gracie (RIP). Walter and I miss you more than you know…and we take your collar out with us on our daily walks (Walter’s idea not mine 😎). #beagles #dogs
