Is the client always right?
We can really say no to a customer.
Here are several examples when it's totally fine to do so:
1. The client doesn't pay you according to the given payment terms... but still expects the service to be done.
2. The client paid you but in the middle of the work it turns out that he needs extra things to be done which were not discussed in the beginning.
It's totally fine to let them know that it's for extra cost.
*I highly don't recommend accepting the orders by phone - as it can easily turn into "oh you must be misunderstood I need this and that " which is actually much more than what they really asked for in the beginning.
3. The client is too rude or swearing.
4. They suddenly start promoting you on social media and then ask you to promote them in return or to provide them your service for free.
In some cases it can be only the sign that they just liked what you do.
In any case signing an agent contract or at least having a discussion on that topic beforehand is important.
Can you add anything else to this list?
Sincerely Yours,
