Colorado Governor, Jared Polis, shares the excellent progress Colorado has made as an employer that embraces experienced employees: the expansion of sick and family leave, health insurance coverage for part-time workers, removing age-discrimination bias from the job application and selection process, skills-based hiring to value the knowledge and wisdom acquired from a lifetime, establishment of a state equity office that includes age equity, and so much more. The state of Colorado strives to be a role model for creating an age-inclusive workforce and being future ready.
