The PMP exam is focused on traditional project management practices, and it tests the candidate's knowledge of the five process groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing) and the ten knowledge areas (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder Management) as defined in the PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

On the other hand, the ACP exam is focused on Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, and other Agile frameworks. It tests the candidate's knowledge of Agile principles and practices, as well as the application of Agile in project management.
