Ark Survival Evolved is a fascinating game in which players try to stay alive in a dangerous world full of dinosaurs by teaming up with other survivors and taming the dinosaurs to use for themselves.
But as players get stronger by making tribes and bases, it quickly becomes apparent that there are bigger dangers on the island than the common dinosaurs they have been fighting and taming.
On The Island, there are four Arenas where you can fight the game's bosses: Broodmother Lysrix, Megapithecus, the Dragon, and the Overseer.
Megapithecus is one of the easiest bosses to fight because it has less health than the others. Megapithecus is a giant ape that lives in a temple in the snow-covered mountains. It can call on monkeys called Mesopithecus and giant apes called Gigantopithecus.
To beat the biggest ape, players must stay on the starting pad and wait for it to get close, then whistle their tamed dinosaurs into battle as the giant ape approaches.
As long as the player has taken precautions against hypothermia and doesn't let their dinosaurs fall into the large hole in the level, it's an easy fight, though it takes longer than fighting a Titan.
We will be fighting the alpha megapithecus on the island today. If you want to do it as I did, you only need flax at Medical Brew Velanosaur. When you get into the arena, go the same way I do.
When you get there, the boss will get stuck down and unable to climb up. But watch out for the small monkeys that can attack you by climbing up from the right side. Keep an eye out to make sure they're not coming toward you. These tips will make it easy for you to beat the boss.
