In this video, I clarify what bell work (also known as bell ringer or warm up) is and how you can use it in your classroom. Bell work is an essential part of your classroom management because it sets the tone for your classroom.
Bell work also give you a chance as a teacher to take attendance, connect with students before class, and overall, get your class in order. Bell work is a simple task students can complete in their notebook that engages them in the content for the class ahead, while also helping them get prepared physically with all the materials they will need to start learning.
