2016 and 2017 were dark times for the NZRC spectator as championship stalwart Andrew Hawkeswood concentrated hard on his goal to be New Zealand rally champion. During that time he seemingly lost the will to drive as his usually flamboyant "win it or bin it" attitude was lost as he strived for championship glory.
Thank the rally gods he won the damn thing as we can now resume normal transmission!
