In the previous lessons the main concepts related to probability were introduced.
With this lesson we make a qualitative leap by introducing the concept of discrete random variable. In fact, when a random experiment provides a numerical result, it is very elegant to work with this type of variables.
In this lesson we will deal with the so-called probability law (or probability density function) and the distribution function, also drawing the cumulative curve, also interpreting the results of the graph itself. An exercise to support the entire lesson will make everything more usable and intuitive.
