First-Timers Learn Relic Recovery
This video was filmed before the current Covid-19 health restrictions. A couple of friends, Sue Decker and Meredith Butterfield, have wanted to learn to metal detect for a while, so I gave them a crash course on using some ACE detectors.
Meredith had secured permission to search a private farm in Flower Mound where the historical society was in the process of moving a 1905 farmhouse across Lake Grapevine. They both learned how challenging it can be to make good finds, but Meredith managed to dig her first musket ball!
