When testing out ideas for a game mechanic or scene speed is of the essence. Greyboxing is the best approach when designing the real scene, but when you want to create a simple game to have players test Kitbashing (taking assets from different packs and putting them together in unique ways) can really help. in this video I kitbash a mining rig in a cavern by taking an extenal demo scene from Castle Valley Collection, adapting it to make a cavern and then adding a modified version of the demo scene from an Industrial Mining Equipment asset. I also throw in Adventure Creator so we can walk around and explore.
