Thule 849 Hull-a-Port Aero enables you to transport a single kayak on it's cradle with the option of stacking a second kayak alongside.
This video demonstrates the Hull-a-Port Aero being mounted into the t-tracks on the top of the roof bars. The cradle support is raised and the roof bar fixings are secured using a wing nut, before the kayak carrier is locked to the roof bars. Straps to secure the kayak are pre-fitted to the top of the support and the kayak is loaded onto the cradle. The straps are looped over the kayak and around the underside of the roof bar and back through the strap buckle. The supplied pump buckle protector is used over the metal buckle to prevent scratches to the surface of the kayak. Bow and stern lines are provided to secured the kayak to the vehicle's towing eyes.
