In contrast to DSTWU, RadFrac performs the distillation by rigorous calculations.
Although the rigorous design is a time-intensive process, it is the primary design tool because of its superior accuracy and capabilities.
The role of shortcut calculations (by DSTWU) is restricted to eliminating the least-desirable design options, providing the designer with an initial estimate for the rigorous step.
