I couldn’t believe my eyes when I recently paid a visit to Enrique Herrera owner of Platinum Big Toys in Corona, CA to witness first hand the incredible progress on the restoration of Vinnie Paul’s limo that I proudly inherited last year.
It went from being rusted to hell and back, to looking like THIS! The weeks that the limo spent at the body shop did it justice for all! WOW it blows my mind seeing where it was just a month ago. The custom bar, red stitching on black leather seating, new foam top with the white vinyl ready to go, and the gorgeous smooth and sexy finish are some of the new upgrades that jump out at me.
I love how Enrique moved the emergency hatch/sun roof so that when you open the doors and look in you’ll see a long stretch of diamond plate stainless steel ceiling full of fiber optics, making it look like Vegas he said! Also it’s so cool how we’re going to place custom woofer boxes behind the seating instead of taking up valuable trunk space.
Next up, putting the original windows back on, tinting those, vinyl top placement, chrome exterior parts, and working more on the interior installing new stereo system, wiring, lighting, AC, and more. Oh and I’m getting CFH’s embroidered into the main back seats, and want to get a custom metal CFH cutout designed and installed on the outside back doors. I’ll hit up my jeweler friend Ben and ask him!
