Dearest Sebastian,
Over the last two years, I have been incredibly proud of how you have returned WFTGA to an inclusive, tolerant, transparent, open and collaborative organisation for all. What I have seen during this time is discussions being open, with colleagues feeling able to speak up. As one of the Past Presidents you have called upon for advice and help, I have seen first hand the efforts you have made.
The convention had its challenges, yet you ensured, wonderfully, that everyone felt part of a team. We know first hand the long hours you have put into WFTGA, the convention and our profession.
Your vision for the future of our organisation looks promising with you as President. I am sure that all who have had the pleasure of engaging with you will want to be active in this future. Your warmth, sincerity, honesty and openness, combined with your unrelenting wish to ensure everything works well, make you an exceptional human being. You also deliver wonderful opening and closing presentations that are truly inspiring.
It has been a pleasure to assist you where I could, and it will be a pleasure to assist you over the coming two years whenever you need help, assistance or advice. There is so much to do to elevate our profession and organisation, and you are, and will continue to be, an excellent spokesperson for our profession. I am very honoured and proud to have you as our President. I am also touched by the depth of your humanity, and by the vision and legacy you wish to create.
