How To Fix BFV Battlefield 5, Stop Launch Crashes & Get It Working Again On Steam Deck
If you have discovered that BFV Battlefield 5 has stopped working on your Steam Deck, or you have just installed it and the game appears to just not work and be crashing back to game mode at launch, then try editing the compatibility mode to fix it.
If you go into BF5's options, properties, compatibility, tick the "force use" box, and select Proton 7.0-6, you should find the game starts working again.
