You know toilet tissue, but do you really know toilet tissue? As self professed #TPNerds, we're excited to take a behind the scenes look at what goes into making our bath tissue products like Angel Soft® and Quilted Northern®!
See how we make tissue. Wood gets chopped, screened, soaked, and cooked in a really big tank to produce pulp - another product we make! The pulp then gets bleached to transform into soft, velvety, absorbent goodness and gets fed into a machine where it gets squeezed, rolled, and dried until we get giant parent rolls. These are then unrolled, perforated, embossed and converted into the individual rolls that we have in our homes.
