In this video we will consider a complex dynamic system inside a living cell, called the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm is the place where all the vital functions of the cell are carried out, such as support, movement, nutrition, respiration, secretion, transport of substances, reproduction and many others. It consists of hyaloplasm, cytoskeleton, inclusions and organelles, each of which performs its own unique role.
The main property of the cytoplasm is its ability to move, due to which optimal conditions are created for biochemical reactions and all parts of the cell are connected into a single whole. The cytoplasm regulates the reactions of synthesis and decay, ensures the growth and self-renewal of the cell, and also participates in the distribution of organelles and resources during cell division.
The cytoskeleton, consisting of microfilaments and microtubules, performs motor and support functions. Hyaloplasm, or cytosol, is the basis of the cytoplasm and affects the speed of biochemical processes. Inclusions are storage compounds or metabolic products that perform a passive role in the cell.
The video also examines various organelles of a eukaryotic cell, such as the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi complex, lysosomes, vacuoles, mitochondria, plastids, ribosomes, and the cell center. Each of these organelles has its own specific structure and performs vital functions of the cell, such as protein synthesis, transport of substances, energy processes, and many others.
This video will be an excellent resource for those who want to deepen their knowledge of the internal organization of the cell and its components.
