Kukui: April, 2020
Kukui had suffered
an extreme case of concussion.
Split both her top and bottom lip
and a running, bloody nose.
Luckily, no fractured teeth.
A little disclaimer:
1. I won't be including any quick rescues
or recoveries, except for one special one,
you'll see that one in a few days.
2. This also won't include
any other animals like birds or hedgehogs,
this is exclusively for squirrels.
3. Last but not least,
there won't be any failed rescues
or deaths in this series.
I think we can agree that
we've had enough of that.
But for the statistical minded people,
we've only lost 3 rescues,
over the past decade.
