Makani had gotten lost in the hurricane,
but his mother came to the rescue!
Did my best here
to translate their body language,
into human words.

I really hope you're enjoying this series,
I think I've spend around
30 hours on them so far.
Sorting, finding the original videos,
editing, finding music, adding text, ect.
Read this after you've watch it:
That lift mom did, not normal at all.
Makani was way too old and
he way too big to be carried by mom like that.
Makani was half the size of his mother here and
they dont normally carry them at this point.
Which makes this even more extraordinary.

A little disclaimer:
1. I won't be including
any quick rescues or recoveries.
2. This also won't include
any other animals
like birds or hedgehogs,
this is exclusively for squirrels.
3. Last but not least,
there won't be any failed rescues
or deaths in this series.
I think we can agree that
we've had enough of that.
But for the statistical minded people,
we've only lost 3 rescues,
over the past decade.
