For many certification exams, the candidate need know the difference between False+ and False- (False Negative)
It is different for Authentication vs. Detection as this video explains.
"Positive" means to block when it comes to detection and prevention systems, whereas "positive" means to allow for authentication systems.
Then true v false states whether the entry was benign, or a threat.
