THE GAME IS FINISHED!!! READ BELLOW!!!
Should I change the enemy models? Leave a comment below!
This is the third and the final dev log regarding the game I'm building for my final UNI year degree. This video was filmed inside the Unity Editor as the game was ported for Android and I don't own an Android device, all the testing was done inside a virtual Android device and combined with the recording software the quality was really poor.
Next is porting the game back to iOS so I will have both versions fully done and working perfectly.
The game is made in Unity 5 Game Engine and will be available for iOS and Android devices supporting Google Cardboard VR.
The game features the nightmares of a kid where the park he enjoys playing in and the neighborhood he lives in are invaded by math, physics and chemistry formulas. The kid will have to stop them from reaching his notebook.
Considering that the game features a nightmare, the character won't be able to run around, he will only be able to rotate and shoot projectiles at the enemies.
The main purpose is to survive as many waves as possible, each wave will bring more powerful enemies.
This dev log is meant to showcase the fully developed game. Highscore is saved now, so is the best number of waves survived, Facebook SDK was implemented (Login, Share, Invite and Leaderboard), also Unity Ads rewarding interstitials and Admob banners were implemented. The menu layout was changed, added a wooden sign for the buttons, milestone for the Highscore and number of waves.
Hope you enjoy it!
