The Olive Ridley sea turtle is one of the most common sea turtles found in the tropical waters of the Pacific and Indian oceans. Here, it is filmed in Costa Rica, one of the species last remaining nesting spots. The females come ashore in great numbers to lay their eggs, a phenomenon called the 'arribada'. The Olive Ridley sea turtle is listed as a vulnerable species, mostly probably due to climate change and decreasing nesting spots. For more wildlife, please subscribe.
