Come and fly with me on this virtual flight in Microsoft Flight Simulator X using my home flight simulator. We are flying an Airbus A321 with sharklets in Air Transat livery. We are flying from from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (KFLL) to Princess Juliana Airport (TNCM) on the Island of Sint Marteen. This has been filmed from the perspective with the camera pointed towards the screen and looking over my left shoulder. The flight control equipment you see are all part of the Logitech series. Because the flight controls take up the space in front of me, I need to put my keyboard (required mostly for ATC communications) to the left of me. This is why I often look to my left. I did have an issue with the avionics in FSX not synching with the Logitech avionics panel which does happen sometimes. It seems not all aftermarket FSX aircraft add-ons are compatible with the Logitech equipment. So I use the avionics panel in the virtual cockpit for heading and altitude changes. My landing in Sin Marteen could have been better as I touched down right of the runway centerline. Sin Marteen is a challenging airport to land at due to it's relatively short runway and that it must be done visually. Enjoy!
