Grand Theft Auto : Chinatown Wars - 14 Years Later
Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars, the 2nd GTA game I never played. That just leaves GTA Advance and I’ve officially played the entire series. I have to say when Chinatown Wars was initially announced I was both baffled and really intrigued.
A portable GTA game on the Nintendo DS of all things? The system with kid friendly titles like Mario and Pokemon on it? I mean don’t get me wrong, I owned a DS back in the day and some of my favorite titles of all time were on it. But after two back to back GTA spinoffs on the PSP, I couldn’t understand why Chinatown Wars would head to the DS.
Well first anyhow, as it did eventually come to PSP and later onto mobile phones. But considering the DS had shifted the tide in the handheld war to become the clear winner by this point, I guess Rockstar wanted to maximize their profits by launching on the more popular handheld.
