Takahashi FSQ-106ED – a superlative flat-field APO. Petzval telescope design explained.
In this video, I introduce you to the Tak FSQ106 ED. It's a so-called Petzval telescope, which has outstanding optical properties. You'll learn what a Petzval design is and which other telescopes also feature a similar design. The FSQ106 ED is the successor to the FSQ 106N. You'll learn about the development of this telescope and, of course, everything you need to know about this special telescope, which is known as a flat-field super quadruplet. In addition to all the technical information, I'll also show you pictures I took with this telescope, and the price is also included. Since I've owned the FSQ for a long time, I consider this video a tribute to the APO.
