With my Chewy Chocolate Cookies Recipe, you will make the BEST soft and chewy chocolate cookies! They are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I’m a huge fan of chewy cookies and this recipe is one of my favourites! The best part is it’s so simple to make and only takes a few minutes of actual work, rest is either baking or resting. You’ll also have all the ingredients at home so you can make it anytime you have a sweet craving.
In this Chewy Chocolate Cookies Recipe, I’ve not added chocolate chips. I’ve only used cocoa powder to keep it as simple as possible. However if you want to add chocolate chips, you can do that as well. Just add them at the end to the dough and that’ll give you Double Chocolate Chewy Cookies or Chocolate Chip Chewy Cookies.

Chewy Chocolate Cookies Ingredients:
Flour - 1/2 cup
Butter (melted) - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup + for garnish
Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1/8 tsp, or a pinch
1 Egg - at room temperature
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cornstarch (corn flour) - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla Essence or Extract - 1/2 tsp
