Home Built Electric Bike
I built this bike for my wife, to test wheather it's possible to drive a bike with an electric model aircraft motor. I found out it's possible, but not the best or easiest way to make an electric bike. Some data: Brushless outrunner motor developing 4kW at 10000rpm (I only use 5000rpm), Top speed 30km/h, Action range about 20km, Batteries 24V-18Ah, Gear ratio 1:20. Probably not legal to drive on public roads in Sweden, but quite fun all the same :)
