The production of ceramics includes a sintering process which is usually performed at high temperatures in the long term. The final quality and the costs of the ceramic production is strongly dependent on the firing temperature profile, the size of ceramic parts and their geometry.
For best product quality, it is necessary to know:
the rate of debinding and sintering at each point in time and coordinate
distribution of temperature, product concentrations and mechanical properties inside the part during the process.
In this webinar, we will present the typical solution steps for sintering optimization of different ceramic materials in order to get the highest quality at lowest costs. They include kinetic modelling of the process by the NETZSCH Kinetics Neo software and then the simulation of this process for the user’s geometry by the Termica Neo software. This helps understand your process and saves a lot of time and efforts compared to the way of trial-and-error.
