Marco Polo was a Venetian explorer who travelled extensively, making a historic trip from Europe to Asia during the late 1,200’s. Once he reached the Court of Kublai Khan in China, he remained in China for a total of 17 years.
“The Travels of Marco Polo”, a book written about his journey to Asia, is one of the greatest books of travel and exploration of the ancient world.
