A game called "Killer Quest" begins in a small modern town. All residents of the town receive messages on social media asking them to participate. The winner receives money. The crime rate sharply increases. A series of murders and car accidents occurs. The FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs do everything they can to prevent the growing chaos in the town. Young men Anton and Zhenya join the game, facing off against money-hungry local criminals. The game organizers, exploiting the players' excitement, begin to pit them against each other. The quest tasks become more difficult every day, and the cash prize increases. Only at the end of the game, the young men who make it to the end realize the entire game is a trap, the purpose of which is to find people capable of solving a complex puzzle. However, having solved it, they become unnecessary witnesses. Now their lives are in danger.
