ingredients:
loaf French bread
28 oz peeled Roma tomatoes
3/4 cup Romano
6 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1 tblsp sugar
1 c provolone
1 c mozzarella
1/2 munster cheese
1 tbls olive oil
1 med sweet onion
1 stick unsalted butter
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley
pepperoni
directions:
dice onion add to pan w olive oil, soften add 2 cloves garlic, crush tomatoes add Romano sugar salt pepper oregano and more olive oil bring to boil simmer 20 to 30mins. soften butter add Romano oregano and parsley mix well, slice bread in half spread mixture on bread bake at 400 for 10 mins. remove let cool, add sauce, cheese and pepperoni or top with what you like! bake at 425 for 8 to 10 min till melted and enjoy!
