Camping in Illinois: Shawnee Forest Campground + Review
June 2024. A look at the Shawnee Forest Campground in Vienna, IL. We stayed here 2 or 3 nights to be close to some places we wanted to visit. It was great! Definitely recommend in the area. However, it can be risky to camp during any severe weather in this area. They ended up with tornados going through near here right after we left!
