What is Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)? 3 PD is the most common cause of Chronic Dizziness. Discover how this condition has been recognized by the medical community and the impact it has on those who suffer from it.
Common presentation and history:
Unsteadiness or dizziness, present for 3 months or longer
Fluctuating severity depending on triggers of intense visual tasks like reading, crowds, shopping stores, or computer work. Dizziness symptoms can also be provoked by moving yourself in your environment

Behavioral co-morbidities in developing 3PD may include the presence of obsessive compulsive disorder, mild depression, and anxiety. Physical symptoms of unsteadiness and dizziness can lead to frustration and avoidance of activities that cause symptoms. This causes a vicious cycle of tolerating less and less stimulation or movement. Don't miss out, subscribe now to learn more about PPPD and how it affects your everyday life!
