2 Years Of Imphalgram!
08-08-2024: Two years of Imphalgram!
We still remember those sleepless nights few years back while living what some may consider a Bombay dream. With a corporate job at a reputed Multi National Company in Bombay. Yet not a single night would pass without us wondering if this was what we were born for?
Stuck in the rigmarole of a rat race and being corporate slaves. We often would have nightmares as if we were Karan Arjun in the popular 90s bollywood flick. Except for not dreaming of a previous life or a Maa Pe Huwe Zulmo Ka Badla! But as if some unknown forces were tryin' to tell us:
"Dude you're not born for this! And you need better things to do in life." LOL!
While the meaning of success or joy would differ from people to people, we always longed for following dreams and passion. And at the same time the pursuit remained to give something back to the world. A reason for us to be remembered beyond just a tomb at our graves. 🪦 💐
Wondered from a city to another in the quest of the dreams and passion and in the search of the meaning of life. Then a Chinese virus brought us home, 2 years we just cooked, ate and slept and played ghar-ghar. 🏡 But still kept getting those
nightmares. 🛌 🧛♀️
08-08-2022: Two years later
with whatever little we gathered, learned, experienced and dreamt of, we started Imphalgram. And we kinda felt as if we were connecting the dots. And this was perhaps our Pichle Janam Ka Adhura Badla or Maksad perhaps. LOL
FYI: Non of our social media platforms are monetised, nor we have done any fundraisers so far. Nor do we have any patrons supporting us financially. Except for a handful of patrons who have supported us, through our journey in the form of paid partnerships and collaborations.
Which has helped us run the show till now. A big shout out and huge gratitude goes out to each of you for fuelling our mission, passion and purpose. And we would also like to thank each one of you here, for all your constant love & support.
A big thank you to the Old Age Home, Mongsangei for letting us celebrate 2 years of Imphalgram and to share the joy on a very short notice. And not to forget the heart warming blessings we got from all the lovely folks there. Couldn't have thought of anything better.
