I've had a lot of requests for this one over the years, so here it is, finally- The Griffin-Ford Model (A.K.A The Latin American City Model) EXPLAINED! This video overviews the development and expansion of many Latin American Cities over time, including elements of the Colonial Era all the way to modern development practices that make cities in the region unique to this day.

If you like the work I do, help me out simply by sharing this video with a friend or a colleague! Giving it some Thumbs-Up love doesn't hurt either. Also, let me know in the comments what you want me to cover for you, as it pertains to the study of Human Geography. I'd love to know what you're interested in so I can put out some updated comment on what you need to learn. And finally, just thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.

All graphics of the model used in this video were created by me.

The picture of the Cincinnati Reds' stadium used in the video was taken by me during the AP Reading in 2019.

Here's a great source with some awesome imagery that shows the unplanned nature and density of some of these favelas/shantytowns. Thanks to CatComm for letting me use the image of Venezuela in my video.

The clips at the end of the video were from Call of Duty Mobile (Yes, I did stick the grenade) and from Fast 5 during the Favela scene.
