4-25-2018 Great news today! Ben’s appointment went well. None of his tumors have grown. the hydrocephalus is not an issue anymore. His brain is filling in the space left from removing the biggest tumor. So, it was all good news. His spine looks much better, and they will not check that as often- just every 6 months, so that is wonderful. He is so excited he got released back to full physical activity again so he cannot wait to swing high at school and go down a tall slide somewhere.
Thank you all for the prayers and positive thoughts.
Ben was SO excited to be cleared for physical activity. What is your favorite physical activity?
Do you like to dance? Ride your bike?
Swim? Play sports? Hike?
Go bowling? What do you love to DO with your body?
(can you think of 10? Different activities you enjoy)
I LOVE to go to Zumba or group aerobics class, and it is so much fun to dance with the group after multiple knee surgeries I look like a fool trying to dance with straight knees, but the best thing about those types of classes is nobody is looking at me, everybody is just trying their best to do the right moves… so, I can relax and have fun without any fear of judgement or self consciousness… It doesn’t matter if others would say you are “good” at it… but what do you enjoy doing?
What feels good to you?
