Rainy Day [Song]
This song was written on a rainy day. I was feeling sad, and I needed to calm down. I thought making a song would distract me from my thoughts. So, I began to write a melody as I usually do when I'm feeling an emotion I can't quite express. However, music always seems to know how to communicate these feelings. Whenever I write a melody, it usually ends up sounding exactly how I feel at the time, whether I realize what I'm feeling or not. Letting out my emotions through the music helped me calm down, but as I finished the notes, I wasn't sure what to add, as it was missing something. When I re-listened after changing the instrument, I noticed the other thing that was relaxing me, the rain. I knew then the only thing I needed to add was the sound I was listening to that whole day to make the track complete.
At first I thought it was too simple of a song to share, but I decided to anyway. I hope when people listen to this, when they are feeling stressed, anxious, or sad, they can calm down and relax for at least four minutes of their day.
