CRT Monitor Effect in Photoshop | English | Easiest way
In this video we are going to learn how to create CRT EFFECT IN PHOTOSHOP,
Here are all the steps and setting that I used in this video,

Step1: convert your image into a smart object
Step 2: go to image - adjustment and click on hue and saturation, and decrease the saturation all the way down because we want our image black and white.
Step3: now go to filter - pixelate - mosaic , put 10 and hit ok.
Step 4: go to image - adjustment - levels, leave it unchanged and hit ok
Step 5: open blending options and add pattern overlay,
Pattern overlay settings:
blend mode - hard mix
Opacity- 99
Angle - 0
Scale- 10
Uncheck link with layers
Step 6: go to blending options and check ‘ blend interior effect and group
Step 7: in the current layer slider, slide from the black part ( this will remove the blacks from our image) and hit ok
Step 8: press ctrl/ command + G to create a group, select the group and open it’s blending options
Step 9: add 4 drop shadows
Here are the drop shadows settings:
First drop shadows
1. Blend mode - liner dodge ( add)
2. Opacity- 100
3. Angle - 115
4. Distance - 1
5. Spread - 2
6. Size - 24
7. Noise - 8
Second drop shadow
1. Blend mode - liner dodge ( add)
2. Opacity- 14
3. Angle - 47
4. Distance - 2
5. Spread - 0
6. Size - 250
7. Noise - 53
third drop shadow
1. Blend mode - liner dodge ( add)
2. Opacity- 100
3. Angle - 98
4. Distance - 2
5. Spread - 0
6. Size - 4
7. Noise - 0
Fourth drop shadow
1. Blend mode - liner dodge ( add)
2. Opacity- 100
3. Angle - 115
4. Distance - 11
5. Spread - 0
6. Size - 18
7. Noise - 7
( experiment with the drop shadows)
Step 10: now go to blending options and decrease the fill opacity to 0
Step 11: add inner glow
Inner glow settings
1. Blend mode - liner dodge ( add)
2. Opacity- 100
3. Noise - 0
4. Color- white
5. Technique - softer
6. Source - Centre
7. Choke- 3
8. Size - 7
9. Range : 85
10. Jitter : 4
Now simply hit ok!
Step 12: adjust the levels slider to get the desired look
