We Found a Hidden Street Food Market in Old Town Phuket, Thailand
In today’s video we’re in Old Town Phuket, Thailand and we accidentally stumble into one of the BEST local street food spots we’ve found so far.
This hidden food center is tucked just off Yaowarat Road in a small alley (soi) called Soi Soon Uthit—look for the sign that says “TR Soon Uthit” and walk down the alley. Inside you’ll find multiple little food stalls cooking fresh meals right in front of you, and the prices are unreal.
We end up eating two delicious meals and you will NOT believe what we paid…
✅ Basil chicken rice with fried egg (Pad Kra Pao style)
✅ Wide flat noodles with seafood
✅ Fresh roasted pork summer roll
And after lunch… it’s time for the challenge.
We finally try the famous smelly fruit: DURIAN 😳
We said we’d never do it… but the smell started growing on us, so we went to a durian dessert spot and tried a durian mini toast with coconut milk. Was it actually good? You’ve got to watch to the end to find out.
