Exclusive Wheel of Time Deleted Scene: Thom's Coat of Many Colors
This is a scene originally written for the Wheel of Time Book 1: The Eye of the World. It was lost to time but later recovered by Amazon and and Jeff Bezos's trillion dollars. Rafe Judkins shot the scene for the Amazon series as an easter egg for die-hard fans. Unfortunately, it was cut for time and didn't make it into the show. Obviously this is just a rough cut, unfinished, with no post production vfx. This version of Thom Merrilin featured just a touch more "glee" as a gleeman, but it was deemed too book accurate and not dark and gritty enough as Amazon studio execs were really going for more of the "next Game of Thrones" rather than the lighter tone of the source material.
